Duo’s two Unison preamps track with near-zero latency through exacting models of the most legendary preamps ever. Plug into either of the mic/line combination jacks and let the music flow through Duo’s pristine D/A (digital to analog) converters. Satisfied with your take? Now it’s time to craft and shape your tracks using the same plug-ins and processors used by hitmakers of every genre.

You’ll also have the inputs and outputs (I/O) you need to create professional recordings. In addition to the Unison preamps, Duo features one high impedance instrument input, two line outs, two monitor outs, and ADAT/SPDIF optical inputs resulting in a 10 x 6 I/O interface for your digital studio. There’s also a dedicated headphone out and a studio friendly built-in talkback mic so everybody can stay on the same page.

Duo comes with a full suite of classic analog processing out of the box. You get awesome LA-2A and 1176LN dynamics processor emulations, as well as Pultec EQs and the UA 610-B tube preamp/EQ, all meticulously modeled. UA has also included Marshall Plexi Guitar Head and SVT-VR Bass Head models to give your tracks that timeless tone. Plus, the Heritage Edition adds the UA 1176 limiter collection, Pultec EQ collection, Teletronix leveler collection, and more!
